Coast to Coast for CDKL5 Canada was a month-long fundraising and awareness event. This was a national event with teams representing CDKL5 families from across the country. This event was created inline with CDKL5 Canada’s mission to support families and research for a brighter future for all impacted by this devastating diagnosis.
June 2024 was our inaugural year and it was a HUGE success! We had 16 teams registered from across Canada consisting of over 600 participants. We walked a total of 169,501,678 steps for CDKL5 awareness in the month of June and raised $47,790!
Next year we hope to make the event bigger and better! Stay tuned for information beginning early 2025. We will be looking to add sponsors and increase the number of teams!
