Join CDKL5 Canada in raising awareness in the month of June when the following landmarks will be illuminated lime green for CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder on June 17th – CDKL5 Awareness Day!

Vancouver Convention Centre, Vancouver, BC – Illumination for the duration of the evening

City of Nanaimo Bastion, Nanaimo, BC – Illumination for the duration of the evening

The Calgary Tower, Calgary, AB – Illumination will begin at sunset and will be illuminated for the duration of the evening

The CN Tower, Toronto, ON – Illumination will begin at sunset.  A standard light show will run for 8 minutes at the top of every hour as it does every night

The Toronto Sign, Toronto, ON – The Toronto Sign will illuminated lime green for CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder

Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls, ON – Both the Canadian and American Falls will be illuminated at 10:00 p.m. for fifteen (15) minute duration

The Peace Bridge, Niagara Falls, ON – Light show commence at dusk and continue until 1:00 a.m. (EST)

The Clock Tower, Collingwood, ON – illumination for the duration of the evening

The Ottawa Sign, Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Sign will be illuminated lime green for CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder

Province House Legislature Building, Halifax, Nova Scotia – illumination for the duration of the evening

Confederation Building, St. John’s, Newfoundland – illumination for the duration of the evening

In addition to the illuminations across the country, a number of towns, cities and municipalities have made proclamations to declare June as CDKL5 Awareness Month. They include:

  • Town of the Blue Mountains, Ontario
  • The Regional Municipality of Durham, Ontario 

Here are some ways you can help to raise awareness for CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder:

• Wear a splash of lime green.

• Take photos of the Illuminated landmarks and share on social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Use our hashtags:  #CDKL5 #CDKL5Canada #RawTalk #CDKL5AwarenessMonth
